Driving to today's event - i must admit, i thought we may be up against it today. A number of the speed merchants were unavailable, i was not sure how many team members we would be able to put out on the course and personally - i couldn't walk up the stairs without grimacing with pain! Well - how wrong was i!! Although Alan will do the analysis a lot better than i, it is quite clear the this was the lady scorers day in the sun although the men did not do a bad job either! Jamie led the team home again, for the 5th Frostbite in a row with a fantastic 2nd place-only 11 seconds away from the win and over a minute clear of 3rd! Darren out sprinted everyone around him (Alan will be proud) to secure a fantastic 5th overall and 2nd Hunts Ac runner home, i managed 8th (also winning a sprit finish - brownie point please Alan) with Rod McKee 4th home in a fantastic 19th position. Ian Marshall won the battle of the "Ian's" in 28th position, just ahead of Ian Gallagher in 30th who has secured his free drink at the awards ceremony on the 10th March, also scoring on his return to frostbite! The next runner home again for Hunts, for the 2nd event running was Elaine Rosaline Livera, who this time was the first Lady to finish and by being in 35th place, is also the highest female finisher for the club - ever!! Great performance Elaine! Just behind in 37th was our last male scorer - Richard Adamson who also entered the Vet40 category this week and is only getting faster! Steven Church, Martin Rowe & Mark Wishart also finished strongly in the top 50, adding points onto every other teams score! Emma Musgrave made a fantastic entrance into the Hunts AC frostbite team with a 96th place finish on debut - awesome running Emma and welcome to the club! 3rd Lady scorer home and in a fantastic 110th position (also after a long run yesterday) was Ieva Klavina- with what Alan assures me is the lowest Female points scoring for the club - ever! What was i ever worried about?

Overall - it was another fantastic Sunday out for the club and after an unofficial snack stop in the Golden Arches (un-planned) we headed home, with win number 5 (from 5) and now surely have to make it a 6th win of the seasons at the final event on March 10th to earn our place in history as the Frostbite unbeatable's! Our winning Margin today 325 race points, leaving us 11 points clear of Riverside runners in 2nd place. As always - its our strength in depth, camaraderie, team ethic and free chocolate that sets us apart from the other clubs - we are clearly enjoying what we are doing out there, so well done everyone running, watching, supporting and officiating. So - who wants to come an play at the season finale - there will be chocolate, winners pride and a fantastic team to run with, we may even make history and who wants to miss out on that! See you on the 10th March guys

Hunts AC Seniors and Juniors won both team races for an unprecedented fifth race in a row.

67 Hunts AC runners took part (42 seniors, 25 juniors)

Elaine Livera achieved the highest placing ever (35th) by a Hunts AC female, beating her own 40th place set last month.  First time in club history that a Hunts AC female has led all women home
