Welcome to the Track & Field section of Huntingdonshire Athletics Club


Coaching and training sessions for all age groups (minimum age 9 years) take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:45 pm to 8:45 pm at the St Ives Outdoor Centre athletics track.


Hunts AC athletes compete in the:

Southern Athletics League (ages 15 to Seniors)

East Anglian League (ages 9 to Seniors)

Eastern Veteran's League (women ages 35 - 65; men ages 40 to 65)


Other competitions include:  club championships, county championships, 3 open meets at St Ives.


All outdoor track & field competitions run from April to September.

14/12/2019  Southern Counties U15G Indoor Pentathlon Champs, Lee Valley  details
Moria Howard 60m Hurdles - 10.01 (PB) High Jump - 1.45m (indoor PB by 12 cms and equal U15G indoor club record) Shot Putt - 7.86 (PB) Long Jump - 3 no jumps 800m - 2:40.60 Despite not scoring a single point in the long jump (which, with a half decent legal jump, would have given her well over 400 points), Moria still added 234 points to the club record, scoring 2232 points and finishing 19th of 40. Moria has one more pentathlon this winter season and has another season to go in this same age group in 2020/21.

600m Race 4 - 1st Ollie Pocklington 1:30.20 (U20M/SM indoor club records, beating old mark by 13 secs); Race 4 - 4th Ella Blake 1:43.30 (SW indoor club record, beating old mark by 5 secs)
